Before that, Snow, who led from the second round, had birdied the ninth after bogeying the par four-seventh, to level the front nine.

He picked up birdies at the 10th, 12th, and 15th and was set for a three or more under until he bogeyed the 17th and 18th both par fours after missing the greens, for the day’s one under par 71 and a four-rounds total of five under par 283 to beat long-hitting Dismas Indiza by three shots.

“My game is generally good though it still needs a bit of fine tuning particularly on short game which I intend to work on between now and early next week before the open," said Snow after his round.

He took the first prize of Sh235,000 and is expected to star at the Barclays Kenya Open next week. Snow will also feature in this weekend’s KCB Karen Masters.

Indiza dropped two shots at the front nine where he only birdied the sixth. He however played a bogey-free back nine which included birdies at the par five-10th, the 12th and 17th for two under par 70 and a total of two under par 286.

In third place with a total of 289 was Kopan Timbe, who shot level par 72 in the final round which included four birdies, a double bogey and three single bogeys.

Only five players made the eight over and under requirement. They included local pro John Wangai, who posted one over par 73 for a total of 292, and Nyanza’s David Odhiambo who posted three over par 75 to also finish on 292.

Indiza won Sh150,000 while Timbe took home Sh100,000 and Wangai and Odhiambo won Sh85,000 for tying for the fourth place.
