Muthaiga’s Greg Snow made his second professional cut in as many weeks in the eGolf professional tour in North Carolina, USA.

The Kenyan, who had tied for 10th place in the previous event, started well in the Southern Open firing rounds of 68, and 69 to make the cut with five under par 137.

He shot his second 68 in the third round but missed several birdie chances in the final where he birdied only two holes against four bogeys for two over par 73 and a total of two over par 278 to tie in 43rd with an earning of $1,300.

Drew Weather, who beat fellow American Michael Sims in a play-off after tying on 17 under par 267, won the event.

Sims fired a tour record 12 under 59 in the second round after a starting 71 but shot 70 and 67 at the end while Weather carded 62, 67, 68 and 70 to also finish on 267. South Africa’s Andrew McLardy was the best foreigner in 14th place with three under par total.

Snow, a member of Muthaiga here at home, has been in the United States for the past three months participating in the eGolf professional tour, one of the many domestic pro tours in America.
