Stretched lead

Police stretched their table lead to 37 points while KCA-U continued its affair third last in the 11-team contest that is almost nearing its end.

Police are assured of a semi-final spot play-off but their coach, Fred Masibo, has called on the authorities to scrap the play-off system.

“It has made the league less competitive as teams only battle to be in the top four and wait for the play-off before they up their game,” said Masibo.

“We are only side to have taken our matches seriously.”
