Chavakali shock St Peter’s Mumias in Western region games

POOL‘A’ MATCHES

In another Pool ‘A’ encounter, Bungoma Secondary School stopped Nambale Secondary 24-5.

In Pool ‘B’ matches, title holders and six times national champions Kakamega High School silenced Vihiga 13-3, while Friends School Kamusinga drew 8-8 with Butula Secondary School.

In Pool ‘A’ of boys’ basketball matches, Kakamega High defeated Teremi Secondary 61-14, while Mukumu Secondary School saw off Sigalame 25-24.

In Pool ‘A’ of girls’ basketball, champions Tigoi Secondary hammered Chakol Secondary 57-13, as Moi Kamusinga defeated Mukumu 30-16. In Pool ‘B’ Kolanya whitewashed Vokoli 36-17.

In boys’ hockey matches, Butula defeated Malava 3-0 in Pool ‘B’, while Kibabii drew 1-1 with Vihiga. In Pool ‘A’, Musingu beat Amukura 2-0, while Friends school Kamusinga hit Nyang’ori 1-0.

In girls’ category, Kolanya beat Kaimosi 2-0, as Tigoi defeated Bishop Njenga 4-0. Meanwhile, Butula Secondary rugby 15s team has been suspended for fielding three ineligible players.
