Kenya Civil Aviation of Authority emerged netball champions at Kenya Communication Sports Organisation (Kecoso) games after beating Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) 65-39 at Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground, Kisumu.

This happened as Kenya Maritime Authority netball team, which was the surprise team of the games, defeated Ministry of Sports, Culture and Arts (Mosca) 75-15 to finish second ahead of Kenya Ports Authority who finished third.

For the new champions, it was a story of the same monkeys in different forests as the new champions players and coach are the same who featured for Kenya Films Corporation Board (KFCB) who clinched the title last year in Nakuru as was the MOIC team which won the back-to-back Kecoso titles in 2014 and 2015.

GOOD FEELING

Coach Millicent Busolo, who has been the architect of the team’s success, says it feels good to have won the title with different teams.

“I feel motivated to continue working even harder because with this honour, the players have always benefited. In different ways,” Busolo who is also the National Netball coach said after the final match.

The KPA football team retained the title they won last year with a superior goal average against Kenya Maritime Authority who finished second while Mosca were third.
