Nairobi duo wins Sh1.2m in latest Lotto draw

Nairobi-based Simon Ngugi and Joseph Marigi are the lucky winners of Sh1.2 million following the 57th Lotto draw last weekend in Nairobi.

Ngugi and Marigi, who will now get Sh600,000 each, join over 500,000 Kenyans who have won different prizes in the Lotto draw that was launched June last year.

Last weekend’s draw produced 9,764 winners including Steddy Koech who won Sh100,000. Matayo Kivisi, Celestine Mwikali, Regina Warunguru, Lucy Mwatibo and Cyrus Akwenda won Sh50,000 each. The lowest amount won is Sh75. Lotto is expected to continue the trend as the build-up to its power draw gathers pace.

In is special addition, all participants who take part in the game up to Madaraka Day on June 1 will be allocated a corresponding free entry into the Lotto Madaraka Day Power draw in which a lucky player stands a chance of winning Sh10m.
