Leaders Kenya Commercial Bank face off with Mwamba in the top of the bill Kenya Cup rugby league match at the RFUEA grounds on Friday.

The bankers escaped with a 25-25 draw against visiting Nakuru last weekend at Ruaraka.

Eric Situma’s Nakuru have another tough battle at hand when they host Kenya Harlequin at the Nakuru Athletic Club.

Mwamba bungled what could have been a glorious away win when they let it off, losing 20-22 to Impala.

Quins also were lucky to pull a scrappy 10-10 draw against stubborn Nondescript at the RFUEA grounds.

Nondies are at their Jamhuri Park show grounds Red Lion’s den, hoping to secure their maiden victory as they host University of Mean Machine, who last weekend claimed an inspiring 8-5 win over Strathmore University Leos.

Leos’ paws are well polished as they yearn for a swift comeback kill against visiting Homeboyz at Strathmore University’s grounds.

Homeboyz are riding on two previous crucial away wins at champions Quins (12-5) and Kisumu (22-21).

The success at RFUEA must have been the sweetest for Paul Murunga’s side since it’s the one that brought Quins’ 15-match winning streak to a halt.

Kisumu are on hunt for their second win of the season at Impala.
