Kenya Commercial Bank humiliated hosts Nakuru RFC 37-0 to clinch the Prinsloo Sevens Rugby Cup at the Nakuru Athletic Club on Sunday.

“Wanyore” as they are popularly known, had a bad day in office right from the word go and were a total flop up the final whistle.

Their co-ordination was inept, while their ball handling was wanting as they failed to tame the speedy bankers who taught them some rugby lessons.

Barely three minutes into the game, Oliver Mangeni evaded a harsh tackle from a Nakuru defender to drill in a superb try which was however not converted by Collins Kimani.

Moments later, Dawin Mukiza touched down with Kimani this time around making no mistake with a classic conversion.

Mukiza, who was a thorn in the leaking Nakuru defence, scored the third try which was superbly converted by the man of the match Edwin Salamba.

After recess, Nakuru continued to wilt and it came as no surprise when Dennis Mwangi scored the fourth try which was however not converted by Kimani.

Salamba increased the home side woes in the middle of the second half when he made a brilliant run from the centre of the pitch and touched down.

A minute before the final whistle, Peter Kilonzo drilled the final nail in Nakuru’s coffin when scored a try below the goal posts which was converted Kimani.
