Kenya’s resurgence continues

Kenya Sevens rallied from behind to beat Portugal 17-7 in the Bowl quarter-finals of the USA Sevens in Las Vegas on Sunday.

In the pool stage, Kenya narrowly beat Canada 22-21 then lost to Argentina 14-19 and England 14-21 to drop to Bowl.

But Kenya’s resurgence was stopped as their defence caved in when Charlie Hayter retsored England’s healthy lead with a converted try.

Kenya were however determined to turn around the scores as Tony Owuor scored late.
