After relinquishing their Kenya Cup title this season, KCB will be looking to make amends and retaining the Enterprise Cup by overcome the university lads.

KCB and Strathmore head into the clash tied at one win each from their Kenya Cup meetings. Strathmore won the first leg 27-25 before the bankers claimed a 31-15 win in the return leg to claim revenge.

The bankers beat Kenyatta University’s BlakBlad 36-8 in the quarterfinal last weekend while Leos booked their place in the last four courtesy of a 32-12 win over Top Fry Nakuru. Both teams have made changes going into this afternoon’s tie with a final place at stake.

The Bankers have made one change to the squad that trounced Blak Bad with Elphas Otieno coming in at fullback for Ken Moseti who has been moved to inside centre to take up the place of Brian Omondi who is out with a knee injury.

KCB Coach Curtis Olago believes his side are a wounded lion after they lost their Kenya Cup and are eager to shine.

“It’s going to be a close game, but I think we have had much experience in such games that should see us carry the day, “Olago told Saturday Nation Sport on Friday.

For Strathmore, lock Dan Otieno will miss out due to work commitment as a result Charles Omondi will fill up his spot.

“We have reached this far because of our hardwork and unity. Tomorrow’s (Satuday’s) game against KCB will just be like any other we have played this season,” Leos coach Mitch Ocholla said.

Ian Lumwaji and George Orembo, who touched down against Nakuru maintain their positions at fly-half and full-back, respectively.

The Kakamega game will be repeat of this season’s Kenya Cup final played on May 7, where Kabras won 19-5 to lift their maiden Kenya Cup title.

“It will be one of our toughest matches since we know what Im- pala are after. We want to prove that our Kenya Cup success was not by chance,” said Kabras Sugar deputy coach Anthony Ogot.

Impala, who are chasing their first Enterprise Cup title since 2005, bundled out 2013 champions Mwamba 48-10 in the last eight while Kabras thrashed Homeboyz 60-22 in their quarterfinal.
