Some senior officers of Muranga water company have been accused of sabotaging operations at the water company to frustrate a new team that has taken over management. Murang’a Water and Sanitation Company (MUWASCO) staff are on the spot for allegedly vandalizing pipes denying residents water. Water wars in the county started when the county government established a caretaker committee in September last year to take over the mandate of boards of all five water companies .
The company Managing Director Eng. Daniel Ng’ang’a has been sent on compulsory leave and Engineer Mary Nyaga appointed in acting capacity. Martin Mwaura reports from Murang’a.
