Caroline Wafula

Caroline Wafula is the Nation Media Group (NMG) Eldoret Regional Office (North Rift region) Regional Editor. She previously served in the same position at Kisumu Regional Office (Nyanza/Western region), and Nakuru Regional Office (South Rift region). Ms Wafula was also part of the founding team of the international award winning Juniorspot magazine - a product of NMG’s Newspapers Education (NiE) schools’ literacy programme as its pioneer editor.

An experienced field reporter and editor, she holds an Executive Masters in Media Leadership and Innovation from The Aga Khan University (AKU), a Masters in International Conflict Management from the University of Nairobi (UoN), a Bachelor of Arts (Communication and Sociology) from the University of Nairobi (UoN) and a Diploma in Journalism from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, (KIMC).

She also served as chairperson of the professional Kenya Parliamentary Journalists Association (KPJA) - the first female journalist to be elected to the position during her stint as a parliamentary and political reporter at NMG.
