MILDRED SAKINA

Mildred Sakina is a creative. She dabbles as a writer, children's speech and drama teacher , actor and blogger.

She first started out as an actor and has appeared in plays staged at the Phoenix Players and the Kenya National Theatre, along with appearing on the TV series, Tuko Macho.

As a writer, she has worked on screenplays, and written for publications such as Hapa Kenya. She documents her love for Kenyan music on the blog, The Bar

Inspired by her love for kids and young people she is working to create Afrocentric wholesome content for this growing audience all over the continent. 

A fashion enthusiast, she considers herself a photographer's muse and model. She enjoys reading, watching live performances, trying out new recipes and meeting new people.
