Fertiliser distributor Export Trading Group (ETG) and agro-chemical manufacturer KEL Chemicals have partnered to expand reach of agri-inputs to farmers and reduce reliance on imported products.

In the partnership, ETG will use its network to distribute Kelphos fertiliser made by KEL Chemicals.

The fertiliser, according to the two, was made after research conducted by Moi University and it helps in improvement in soil structure and PH levels, which are important indicators of soil fertility, consequently aiding farmers to optimise soil conditions.

“We are extremely confident that the joint partnership will grow the Kelphos brand as well as enable the farmers to access it readily alongside our other fertiliser brands,” said a statement from the two.”
