Devolved unit picks team to step up war on Aids

Kisii County is in fifth position at eight per cent.

Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma said statistics for counties in Luo Nyanza were worrying, hence the need for the national government to channel more funds to the regions to fight the disease.

His Migori counterpart, Mr Okoth Obado, said they had launched an initiative aimed at reducing new infections.

In Bomet, County Executive for Health Stanley Kiplangat regretted the reluctance by many residents to go for HIV/Aids testing and counselling.
