The Leopard Beach Resort in Diani has resumed operations after a fire burnt down part of the hotel last Sunday.

At least 200 guests including Devolution Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa were evacuated during the incident.

General manager Kioko Musyoki told the Nation on phone that services have fully resumed.

On Friday, the hotel hosted 120 guests for a wedding.

"We have picked ourselves up again, we are rising and moving forward," he said, adding that they had a successful Valentines Day dinner.

A workforce of more than 300 staff are still working at the hotel, he said.
