Migori Senator Oluoch still receiving treatment

Migori Senator Ben Oluoch is still receiving treatment in India.

His office manager Richard Sollo confirmed on Sunday, though he did not reveal what ails Mr Oluoch.

The senator has had to deal with rumours concerning his health.

On March this year during a breakfast show on Mayienga FM, Mr Oluoch said he would take legal action on peddlers of the rumour that he had died.

"And it is bad that these people are using pseudo accounts in order to disguise their identity. They must respect feelings of our family members, relatives and friends," the lawmaker said.

And added: "My doctors have declared that I can now resume my duties as a Senator."
