Police are holding two suspects in connection with a spate of robberies that has rocked Kayole in the outskirts of Naivasha town, Nakuru County.
A detective involved in the investigations said they have strong evidence linking the two to the thefts that have left victims devastated.
The investigator said the two are revealing crucial details that might lead to the arrest of two of their accomplices who are still at large.
"The arrest of two is a major breakthrough in the fight against crime in Kayole area. We in pursuit of the fleeing pair," added the senior officer.
Among those at large is a suspect said to be in possession of a pistol and is suspected to be hiding in Nakuru.
More than 10 people have fallen victim to the marauding gangsters in the past weeks.
Meanwhile, Naivasha Sub-County Police Commander Samuel Waweru said two suspects have been arrested in connection with a fraud case.
"They were arrested on Monday by police but investigations are still ongoing," he said.
The two, Mr Waweru said, will be arraigned after police complete their investigations.
