State issues 17,000 title deeds to Narok residents

The Jubilee administration has issued 17, 000 title deeds in Narok County since it took over power in 2013, Lands Cabinet Secretary Farida Karoney has revealed.
The CS said the State is targeting to issue another 15,000 title deeds in the region by June next year.
Speaking during the issuance of 2,100 title deeds to members of Leshuta Group Ranch in Narok West on Thursday, Ms Karoney said that the government would ensure that all land owners in Narok have the vital document.
She however said that land wrangles in court were slowing the issuance of the title deeds.
