Two killed, 3 injured in Narok-Mai Mahiu road accident

Two people died while three were injured when a motorist lost control and hit two vehicles on Narok-Mai Mahiu road on Wednesday evening.

The two men were both employees of the Ewaso Ngiro Development Authority, Managing Director Sammy Naporos said.

He said a group of five had been travelling back from a training in Nyandarua County when the accident took place.

Narok Sub-county commissioner Arthur Bunde said the incident took place at about 6.30pm at Dello Hills.

"The driver of a Prado from the Mai Mahiu direction lost control and hit a lorry and a saloon car coming from the opposite side. The two died on the spot," he said.

The accident was reported at Ntulele Police Station in Narok East Sub-county.

Those who were injured were taken to Narok County Referral Hospital.
