A teacher is on the run after being suspected of defiling a 15-year-old girl at Slopes View Academy in Nyeri County.
The incident is said to have occurred on Saturday morning but was not reported until Sunday.
Kieni East OCPD Job Lesikinwa said detectives are searching for the the 24-year-old teacher.
"All statements have been collected and the girl has undergone medical examination. We are looking for the teacher," Mr Lesikinwa said.

According to reports from the school administration, the incident occurred at around 5am during morning preps.
The girl was called into the staffroom alone by the teacher on duty.
When she told her parents on Sunday, they stormed the school and confronted the teacher but he managed to slip away.
"I heard from the pupils that a teacher was being attacked. Upon further interrogation is when I learned of the matter," the school head Elizabeth Muthui said.
The incident come hot on the heels of an investigation into the defilement of a Form Two student at Moi Girls School Nairobi on Saturday.
On Monday, five more male teachers and two subordinate staff were instructed to give DNA samples to investigators.
