Missing Chief Mbogori High students found in Nairobi

Two students at Chief Mbogori Girls High School in Maara Sub-County, Tharaka-Nithi County, who went missing on September 5, 2019, have been found in Kariobangi estate Nairobi.

Maara Sub County Police Commander Johnstone Kabusia said the two girls both aged 15 years had been taken to Kayole Police Station before their parents were contacted.

“The Form One students from Chief Mbogori Girls’ who had been missing for 12 days, have been found in Kariobangi estate in Nairobi in good health,” said Mr Kabusia.

BUS FARE

The school principal, Ms Ruth Mutua said the girls were among a group of students who were sent home after reporting to school late from August holiday on September 4.

According to the school rules, the students are supposed to report to school latest by 3pm. However, some seven students reported at the school at around 6pm and were sent home the following day.
