Boy, 12, kills himself in Vihiga
The boy was found daggling from a roof on Friday.
A 12-year-old boy from Kidinye, Vihiga County has committed suicide in unclear circumstances.
The boy, who lives with his aunt, was found dangling on a rope on Friday, police said.
He was a class four pupil at Kidinye Primary School.
The incident has left the village in shock as residents ponder over the happening, the first in the remote area.
His aunt, said she returned home from a funeral in the neighbourhood only to find the boy missing.
She searched for the boy and found him in the bedroom with his body dangling from the roof.
Vihiga police boss Justin Nyagah confirmed the incident and said investigations are underway.
The boy's body was moved to Vihiga County Referral Hospital mortuary in Mbale.
