Kenya confirms 90 new Covid-19 cases as tally hits 3,305

Kenya has recorded 90 positive coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total tally of confirmed cases to 3,305.

These were from 2,419 samples tested, bringing total samples tested in the country to 108,666.

Of the new cases, 62 are male while 28 are female. Their ages range between 14 and 80 years.

Nairobi has the highest number of new confirmed cases at 36 while Mombasa has 34,  Busia 12 and Uasin Gishu three.

Kilifi, Garissa, Kisumu, Meru and Turkana recorded one case each.

Four more people died from Covid-19 over the past 24 hours, bringing total virus deaths in the country to 96.
