African leaders environment conference set for November

African ministers will meet to discuss environmental contributions towards sustainable development and prosperity in the continent.

This will be during the 17th Ordinary Session of the African Ministerial Conference on Environment between November 11 and 15 in South Africa.

Of focus will be environmental contribution to the green economy, how to progress the circular economy in the continent, development of the blue economy, biodiversity, land degradation, desertification, drought and climate change.

The ministers will also “discuss the need for African countries to take practical actions, including implementation of policies.
