33 more patients have been discharged in the last 24 hours from various centres, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,286.

While speaking in Nyandarua County today, CS Kagwe noted that one more person has died in the same period as virus deaths hit 104.

"The number of infections continue to rise in the country and we must do something as individuals to stop the trend," he said while commending Nyandarua County for remaining coronavirus free.

He noted that out of 600 samples tested in the county, all had turned out negative.

"However, this does not mean that the people of Nyandarua are immune from contracting the virus," he added.
