The reason for Amani’s return
Songbird Amani who just released her first single in four years, after previously saying she had quit music for good, has revealed why that wasn’t possible.
The 37-year-old got saved two years ago. After doing music for over 15 years she decided to exit the stage.
This explains why she had been missing in the music scene. She released her first single since the transformation, "Jina Lake Yesu", a few days ago.
“My greatest fear about quitting music was that that’s what I have done all my life. I have only ever worked nine months. My experience is in music, I don’t have a resume, I have a profile and it states a rate card,” Amani was quoted.
Even though she is back in music, Amani also has a hair products business that keeps her grounded.
