Fresh cultural tidings have been received to appease lovers of traditional art of ghazals and musical melodies. Navrang Fine Arts Foundation (NFAF) known and respected for its authentic artistic and soulful presentations has announced the staging of HAZARON KHWAHISHEIN- a thousand cherished wishes, an evening of vocal and musical exposition featuring Gayatri Asokan at the Oshwal Centre Auditorium Westlands on March 17, 2018.

Gayatri Asokan is a young energetic and graceful performer who has made her mark as a versatile singer of Indian film songs, ghazals, bhajans and classical renderings.

She takes pride in being the granddaughter of Ammukutti, the legendary Carnatic music teacher and Guru. Back home in India, Gayatri is an award winning vocalist. She has been associated with the Art of Living Foundation since 1995 and travels extensively singing and spreading the noble cause of the foundation in the service of humanity.

I understand the royalty she receives for the musical albums is passed on to charitable organisations. Gayatri is also a judge at musical talent shows featured by the Indian small screen channels.

At the Hazaron Khwahishein showing Gayatri will be accompanied by well-known professional Indian musicians and percussionists to support her renderings of choice ghazals and melodies.
