Warcraft is adapted from the video game. I am yet to play the game, but according to reviews online, the movie faltered a little bit because there was little material to work with. I question this because, if there was little material, then why make the movie? And if so, then make things up, no? A la GOT, talk to the creators or something? Makes me very worried for God of War, which they are making a movie out of.

Anyhow, the movie is about conflict in an imaginary universe where huge anthropomorphous beasts called orcs (sound familiar? Though not as ugly) are trying to take over earth from the humans – known as Azeroth - so that their society survives.

They do this through witchcraft and their head shaman, a scary guy who uses human spirit to fund his campaign. The plot felt like a reach to me, as did the length. Surprisingly, Miss Patton doesn’t suck in it. Go watch it if you have nothing else to watch.
