'Selina' actor Kone Nouhoum in ICU after accident

Actor Kone Nouhoum is admitted in Nairobi Hospital's Intensive Care Unit following a car accident that left him critically injured.

The impact made his head bob backwards and fractured his spine. He's been in and out of surgery since.

The accident took place at the Naivasha geothermal site (Olkaria, in Nakuru County) but details on what caused it have not yet been released to the public.

Fellow actor Alex Khayo had posted the tragic news on his Facebook page on Monday, with the message, “Let's pray and support him.”

Kone, who plays Reagan in Maisha Magic East series “Selina”, posted on Instagram on Friday, “I hear the trick is to enjoy life and not wishing away your days, waiting for better ones ahead .........cheers to the freakn' weekend beautiful people.”

The talented actor has brought entertainment and joy to many sitting before television screens, and now his family needs help to clear his bill, that already stands at Sh3.5 million.
