Form Four students at Oloolaiser High School in Kajiado County went on the rampage on Thursday night, destroying school property.

Following the unrest, 19 students were arrested and taken to the Ngong Police Station, where they recorded statements.

However, they were freed to allow them to continue with the ongoing Kenya Certificate of Secondary Educations exams.

They are expected to be arraigned in court once police finish their investigation.

Rift Valley Regional education coordinator Mary Gaturu confirmed the incident.

“Arrangements have been made for them to continue with exams,” said Ms Gaturu.

The cause of the unrest has not yet been established.
