Police officer filmed assaulting man to face prosecution

The police officer captured on video assaulting someone has been identified and he faces disciplinary action.

The National Police Service, on its Twitter page on Friday, said the officer has been "positively identified and is being processed for disciplinary action".

Further, the victim was asked to record a statement with Nairobi Area police commander to facilitate the prosecution of the officer.
