Red Cross team searches for trapped residents in collapsed Huruma building

Three children and one adult have so far been rescued by the Kenya Red Cross team at the site of a residential building that collapsed in Huruma, Nairobi late Friday night following downpour in the city.
The four people have been transported to the Kenyatta National Hospital for treatment.
Speaking to the Nation on phone, the Kenya Red Cross communications manager Arnolda Shiundu said 'it was a complete building collapse' and that the scene on the ground is chaotic as crowds build up around and on the rubble.
Ms Shiundu said the security services are onsite to restore order and help ensure the safe retrieval of trapped residents.
