Detectives in Maryland, US are looking for a suspected bank robber who was captured by surveillance cameras dressed in a Gor Mahia jersey.

Montgomery County Police Department shared images of the suspect on social media and on their websites early this month.

US police say the suspect is wanted in connection with two robberies at the PNC Bank in Wheaton.

Investigators say the same suspect robbed the bank on April 13 2018 and on November 14, 2017.

“On Friday, April 13 at approximately 7.03pm, 4th District officers responded to the PNC Bank located inside of the Giant Food grocery store at 2900 University Boulevard West for the report of a bank robbery.

“The investigation by detectives revealed that the suspect entered the bank and handed a note to the teller demanding money.

"The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the bank,” police said in a statement.

The suspect was last seen on foot in the area of the 11100 block of Veirs Mill Road.

The November 14 statement indicated that the robbery occurred at 2:18pm using the same tactic.

The police is offering a cash reward of $10,000 (Sh1 million) to anyone giving information that will lead to the arrest or indictment of the suspect.
