Sacking Kimaiyo will not end the insecurity

I feel that the people who are calling for the sacking of our security chiefs over the Mandera massacre are not genuine.

Even if you replace Cabinet Secretary Ole Lenku and Inspector-General David Kimaiyo, there will be no difference because security starts with you.

The driver of the ill-fated bus could have called 999 and passed the information of the attack.

Instead he called his bosses. I’m sure if Kenya police control room received information of the attack, it could have dispatched a helicopter.

Kimaiyo and company cannot be everywhere. They are not God.

Citizens should also be allowed to own firearms, but only after thorough training.
