He retweeted three videos by an extreme right-wing, racist and Islamophobic Britain First- group in the UK.
MFor a person who acts and talks objectionably in any language, US President Donald Trump seems to be increasingly off tangent and potentially damaging the country’s image.
For example; His actions in 48 hours as the CNN reported on November 20, 201, last week. The headline was: Is Donald Trump losing control?
He retweeted—and that’s being an accomplice — three videos by an extreme right-wing, racist and Islamophobic Britain First--group in the United Kingdom. The videos showed purported violence against Christians by Muslims, Shrugging, he took a swipe at the country’s Prime Minister Theresa May for saying; “wrong.”
Then he went on to use firing of three major television network anchor to advance his pet bashing “fake news”—most of what he says fake, anyway—and to advance innuendo about their characters. Democrats in Congress were to blame for Republican’s incompetence, he went on.
WORLD WAR II
Not inadvertently, he referred a white female Senator who claims Native American heritage derogatively as a “Pocahontas” in a ceremony honouring U.S. Navajo code talker during World War II.
Conveniently, Trump forgot once admitting as “locker room” talk his boast of groping women genitals. That was before a report emerged he once told a reporter the greatest thing on earth is: no guess required what! That he eventually admitted predecessor Barak Obama was born in the United States turned ethereal in his very “good brain” or whatever.
Trump wasn’t done. North Korea’s leader was, again, a “Little rocket man,” additionally a “sick puppy,” as if such presides over ballistic missiles launches.
That’s a barking-dog-type-talk. Otherwise why did Trump at the same time once again appealed to China to pressurize North Korea to stop missile and nuclear programme? Out of memory was his administrations’ earlier declaration if China didn’t act, the US will.
STATE OF MIND
“Something is unleashed with him lately,” Times reporter Maggie Haberman said on CNN Wednesday morning. “I don’t know what is causing it, I don’t know how to describe it.”
Psychiatrists, especially in the US, normally don’t publicly discuss their presidents’ state of mind. Dr Lance Dodes, a former Harvard clinical psychiatry assistant professor did to MSNBC network: Trump has psychosis.
He added: “All of his delusional ideas come up when he is stressed in some way, and then he losses track of reality because it doesn’t fit what he needs to believe.”
Maybe, maybe not. Plausibly, he’s savouring compliments for his Islamophobic re-tweets by Britain First deputy leader and former Ku Klux Klan head.
Few foreign leaders would wallow in that or trust one who does? For now, few Britons want Trump on their soil. Her majesty would probably “catch” flu was Air Force One to make an emergency landing.
For Trump though, it’s “America First,” like former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe’s “Pamberi na Jongwe,” loosely “forward with cockerel” in the Shona language.
