Whatever you do to other humans will rebound upon you

Self-evidently, even the law may scandalise you. For instance, how does it make your humanity manifest whenever you pocket Sh2,000 in salary every second in a country where millions daily groan from hunger? Many European-owned corporations commit just such vile crimes throughout Africa and in other Third World countries.

It is the done thing even in the very world – Western Europe and North America themselves – that once introduced to us “brotherly and sisterly love” as a doctrine of heavenly salvation. Day in and day out, Kenya’s and other Third World leaders still flock to the capital cities of Western Europe and North America, a beggars’ bowl in the hand, in abject supplication for “foreign aid”.

Though most of this “aid” ends up in the personal bank accounts of a very tiny class of human beings, it is advertised to the public as social generosity.

As a Dickensian character might have retorted, how is it possible for a person to preach Jesus and the doctrine of loving kindness immediately after the preacher has convinced a mass of uneducated Third World human beings to surrender all their meagre worldly belongings, including land, to some swift-tongued church-going individuals, most of them foreigners?

CHIEF SCANDAL

That is the chief scandal in today’s human world, led by a species which advertises itself as inordinately intelligent, a species the leading race of which does not see how scandalous and how dangerous it is for it to grow fatter and fatter from the sweat of the very human beings who must, as a consequence of it, grow skinnier and skinnier from hunger and perish by the million every day.

Advertised as “foreign aid”, it sounds admirably noble in the extraordinarily naïve ears even of the most educated citizens of the “aid”-receiving countries. However, no matter how legally and legitimately it seemingly takes place, it remains scandalous in a country where numerous human beings perish from painful hunger every day.

It is simply laughable for members of such people to keep telling their children that they belong to the most intelligent species on our planet.

Among the species, many foreigners still tell their children that the Caucasian is the most intelligent human race on earth. But, in that case, intelligence cannot be equated with wisdom or specific (nature-given) kindness within a species and specific wisdom.

INTELLIGENT

Yet it seems self-evident that a species can be considered intelligent only if it habitually does things designed to secure the future for whole itself.

In the long run, a race behaving in the same way that the upper classes of the European Caucasians have treated the African Negro cannot be called intelligent because such behaviour busily cuts the very hand that, in the long run, feeds and keeps everybody alive.

A race which behaves in exactly the same manner as the upper classes of the Caucasian world has treated the masses of human societies – including of the Caucasians themselves – automatically endangers the lives of the race that has to sweat so profusely to keep the whole human species alive and to improve upon its life.

EVOLUTION

Every such an activity, therefore, endangers the life and wellbeing even of the culprit – and even of the whole species. So, although we are certainly specifically intelligent, our intelligence is always wholly open to question marks.  Ever since humanity appeared in the landscape of evolution, we have done things to one another and to other members of our environments that wholly deny our intelligence, our prescience, our wisdom.

As we all know from the pages of our world’s own history and from what Europe’s own great philosopher Hegel used to teach as the way nature behaves, whatever you do to other human individuals and other human societies will most likely rebound upon you and with consequences that are much more thoroughgoing, with consequences much more devastating.
