Swindon Town manager Andy King has confirmed that Kenya international Nicholas Muyoti will join his team for trials after Harambee Stars' African Nations Cup qualifier against Cape Verde on October 12.
King announced this hours before the Kenya team, on a 10-day tour of Europe, left for Northern Ireland where the team is scheduled to play a match against their hosts Linfield today.
The 26-year-old midfielder caught the eye of the manager during Stars' match against the second division Swindon Town at the club’s Wanborough training ground.
Muyoti netted the second-half winner as Harambee Stars edged Swindon 2-1.
In Northern Ireland, some newspapers dedicated two pages coverage to Stars' visit, with the high light being Stars' match against Linfield.
The match will kick off at 6 pm Kenya time, and is likely to be televised live here.
Linfield's manager David Jeffrey said it will is a great honour for his cub to play Harambee Stars.
