Footprints on Saturday enhanced their chances of qualifying for the Kenya Basketball Federation women's Premier League play-offs for the first time after registering a resounding 59-29 victory over Western Delights in Nairobi.

Footprints, who were promoted to the top flight this year, will need to beat Kenyatta University Oryx on Sunday to be assured of finishing seventh overall and gaining a place in the prestigious eight-team play-off quarter finals. Forward Daizy Ayodi had a great day sinking a record eight three pointers of her game-high 26 points.

In another women's Premier League match at the same venue, red-hot forward Mercy Wanyama scored 22 points as Storms easily demolished Oryx 65-37.
