Ulinzi Warriors will be out for a strong finish in the Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) Premier League when they play underdogs World Hope in their last match at United States International University outdoor courts on Sunday.

The soldiers shattered champions Kenya Ports Authority's unbeaten record with a shocking 72-66 victory at their KPA Makande Gymnasium last weekend. The victory assured Ulinzi of second place.

Coach William Balozi said he will maintain the squad which did duty in Mombasa as he looks to bag maximum points and take his tally to 35 points. On-form shooting guard Eric Mutoro, forwards Antonio Bwire and John Washika are expected to replicate their exploits against KPA.

"Most of my key players were engaged missing out in the Mombasa match but I paraded new blood, who exhibited a great game in fast break and tight defence to break seven month champions unbeaten record," he said adding that KPA are still favourites to end the second leg top.

World Hope, beaten hands down 72-52 by Thunder last weekend, will rely on Conrad Wafula and Robert Hope as they look to revive hopes of qualifying for the play-offs.

Champions KPA and Strathmore University's Blades will be out of action this weekend since they are in Dar es Salaam for the Fiba Africa Zone Five qualifying round matches that get underway on Sunday.

In Eldoret, Eldonets will host University of Nairobi’s teams Terrorists and Dynamites in their crucial men and women’s Division One league return leg matches.

Coach Richard Kanda’s Nakuru Club will host Barclays Bank in a tough men’s Division One league tie at Menengai High School. Nakuru will wind up their two match programme at home against Nairobi’s Africa Nazarene University.

In Kakamega, Nebulas will welcome Kenya Airport Authority at Kakamega Police Canteen.

Sunday's Division One men's action will see Zetech University men take on Emyba at USIU. After beating KDF Morans 56-46 last weekend, Raymond Wanjohi will hope to inspire Zetech Titans against Emyba who are hot favourites to finish top.

Zetech's women team will later face off with Eagle Wings in the women’s Premier League. Eagle Wings rocked Footprints 64-55 and will be seeking two points to boost their play-off chances.

Newcomers Woodley Knights will have a date with Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology at 3pm.
At the KPA Makande Gymnasium in Mombasa, newcomers Baobab Blazers will host Upper Hill School on Saturday. The students will also face Coastal Kings at 4pm the same day.
