Uganda’s Rwenzori Warriors maintained their winning streak in the East Africa Premier League Twenty20 tournament when they beat Kongonis by six wickets at the Nairobi Club on Saturday.

The victors now top the league table with 24 points, eight ahead of the second placed Nile Knights also of Uganda.

However, Kongonis turned the tables on Rwenzori in the one day game at the same venue on Sunday, beating them by 69 runs, a result that eased them into the lead with 18 points, four points ahead of Rwenzori.

The top two teams in each group will fight it out for the top cash prize of Sh750,000 in the finals of the Twenty20 and one day tournaments at the Nairobi Gymkhana on October 29 and 30 respectively.
