AFC Leopards coach Nikola Kavazovic was missing on the touchline as his charges edged out Ulinzi Stars 2-1 in a preseason friendly match at Hope Centre, Kawangware on Saturday.

A goal in either half from left back Isaac Kipyegon cancelled out Daniel Waweru’s first half opener.

The Serbian is rumoured to have fallen out with the Leopards’ executive committee leading to his absence in the team’s training session for the first time since taking over from Argentine Rodolfo Zapata last month.

Former Kenyan international Tom Juma, who was recently handed Operations Manager role, took charge of the team alongside goalkeeper coach Lawrence Webo.

This was the team’s last preseason friendly before their opening league match against Kariobangi Sharks next Saturday in Machakos.
