Dennis Oliech’s imminent move to South Africa has excited a section of Kenyans on social media.

He said: “Very much capable bro, I wish you the best down south.”

Erick Midila added: “Good to see the menace back, the greatest striker of our generation.”

Josiah Nyaudo said : “This is probably his last chance. I hope he maintains some level of discipline over there and let the goals do the talking.

While Carren Anyango posted: “That chance should be given to a young Kenyan striker, Oliech has enjoyed his chance and is now past it.”

Said Fredrick Watende: “Oliech is past his prime. I think he is just desperate and does not know what to do with his life past football. Anyway, I wish him the best of luck.

Oliech was fondly known as ‘Dennis the Menace’ during his 13 years productive stint with Harambee Stars that ended in 2013.

In South Africa, Oliech is set to cross up with Harambee Stars duo, Brian Mandela and Masoud Juma, who ply their trade at Martizburg United and Cape Town City respectively.
