A Business Administration graduate is the newest millionaire in town after placing a Sh10 bet on gaming site betPawa.

Twenty five-year-old Lawy Munene was on Wednesday unveiled as betPawa's inaugural Jackpot of Sh1 million winner. Incredibly, he hit the Jackpot on his second attempt after correctly predicting the results of 12 football matches.

"I received the dream call on Monday morning and I thought it was a hoax," he explained.

"I decided to first confirm with the number and then shared it with my mum."

Munene was lauded by betPawa country manager Dos Kariuki who also hailed the gaming firm's innovative market products.

"Over the years, our tagline has been 'bet small, win big'. As betPawa, our goal is to convert out client's passion for sports into money by them betting on their favourite teams and personalities for small amounts starting from one shilling," he said.
