Al Ahly of Egypt are the eighth club to take a two-goal lead into the second leg of a Caf Champions League final after defeating Esperance of Tunisia 3-1 last weekend.

Here is what happened to the seven previous clubs who travelled with a two-goal advantage in the final of the premier African club competition:
