Champions Gor Mahia on Wednesday leapfrogged second-placed Mathare United after beating Tusker 1-0 in a SportPesa Premier League match at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.
Striker Nicholas Kipkirui headed home the only goal of the match in the 56th minute to give the champions the three points and move second in the table with 29 points.
K'Ogalo were reduced to 10-men after goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch was given a straight card for handing the ball outside his area.
