Despite being on a poor run in the SportPesa Premier League, Posta Rangers coach John Kamau is happy with the improved match fitness levels of his players.

Kamau took over the team in January and has so far taken charge in eight games winning once, drawing as many and picked six defeats.

The mailmen are second from bottom on the SportPesa Premier League (SPL) log with seven points from 11 rounds.

“One of the things we’ve had to fix is the fitness levels of the players which I am happy is improving day by day,” said Kamau after holding Tusker to a scoreless draw at Kenyatta stadium in Machakos on Saturday.

“The next issue is to now work on finishing because we create so many chances in front of goal but we lack the final touch,” he lamented.

Posta visit Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) in their next game on Thursday.

“We go back to training to prepare for the match by working on our weaknesses noticed against Tusker,” concluded Kamau who will come against his former employers KCB for the first time since ditching them August last year.
