The 2008 champions Mathare United missed the chance to draw level on points with leaders Gor Mahia following a hard-fought one-all draw against 10-man Thika United in a SportPesa Premier League match played at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Sunday.

Clifford Alwanga cancelled out Eugene Mukangula’s first half opener for Thika United netting his 10th goal of the season to ensure a share of the spoils.
