Star locked out of Gor Mahia squad for Caf Confed Cup return

  • Muguna, who re-joined the club from Albanian side FK Tirana in October, is said to be unsettled at K'Ogalo due to lack of playtime.

Midfielder Kenneth Muguna has been left out of the Gor Mahia squad that departed Friday morning for Douala, Cameroon ahead of their Caf Confederation Cup playoff return leg set for Sunday in Limbe.

Muguna, who re-joined the club from Albanian side FK Tirana in October, is said to be unsettled at K'Ogalo due to lack of playtime.

Defenders Harun Shakava and Joash Onyango have too been exempted from the trip as they are suspended from this game by the continental body.

Legendary striker Dennis Oliech, Nicholas Kipkirui and Ivorian Ephrem Guikan are also out as they are ineligible for this fixture until their registration becomes valid, should Gor reach the group stage.

The team is scheduled to touch down in the West African nation at 10am and embark on a 45 minute drive to Limbe.
