NMG football team brace for hosts Nakuru Wazee

Nation Media Group travel to Rift Valley to face a formidable looking Nakuru Wazee FC in a friendly match Afraha Stadium from 12 noon on Saturday.

Said Nakuru Wazee’s coach/player and former Shabana FC and Posta Rangers winger Peter “Kass Kass” Kamau: “We have a strong team to beat NMG and we urge all soccer fans to come in large numbers to watch the match.”

The hosts, who recently crashed Kivumbini FC 7-3 in a warm up match at Afraha, will be eager to showcase their abilities in the much-waited friendly that will curtain-raise a National Super League (NSL) match between Nakuru All Stars and visiting Green Commandos.

Nakuru Wazee will feature defender Denis Bongomba, former Ulinzi Stars midfielder, Antony “Kasisi” Nderitu, Geoffrey Njuguna who played for Oserian Fastac and Chemelil Sugar, retired veteran Newton Kiplagat who played for AP Nakuru and keeper Collins “Cheetah” Oduor formerly with Homeboyz and Chemelil FC.
